?腺相關(guān)病毒（AAV）是非致病性ssDNA病毒，需要輔助病毒(通常為腺病毒)參與復(fù)制。它編碼兩個(gè)末端的反向重復(fù)序列(ITR)中的cap和rep基因。ITRs對(duì)于病毒的復(fù)制和包裝具有決定性作用。cap基因編碼病毒衣殼蛋白，rep基因參與病毒的復(fù)制和整合。
重組腺相關(guān)病毒載體(rAAV) 源于非致病的野生型腺相關(guān)病毒，由于其安全性好、宿主細(xì)胞范圍廣(分裂和非分裂細(xì)胞)、免疫源性低，在體內(nèi)表達(dá)外源基因時(shí)間長等特點(diǎn)，被視為最有前途的基因轉(zhuǎn)移載體之一，在世界范圍內(nèi)的基因治療和疫苗研究中得到廣泛應(yīng)用。AAV已被用于多例臨床試驗(yàn)（例如FIX，CFTR，Parkinson's，Canavan疾病）沒有表現(xiàn)出嚴(yán)重的載體相關(guān)不良反應(yīng)。
